Short answer: Buyers decide from the listing before they book a showing. In the 2025 and 2026 national surveys, 81% of buyers call listing photos very useful and 82% are more likely to view a home that has a floor plan they like. PRO360 Photos gives Houston agents photos, drone, floor plans, 3D tours and video from one booking, with photos delivered by 9 a.m. the next morning.
Sellers notice it too. In Zillow’s survey of sellers, 78% said they are more likely to hire an agent who offers hi-res photography, and 71% an agent who offers virtual tours or interactive floor plans. This guide shows what the newest buyer and seller data says about listing media, which popular statistics don’t hold up, and how PRO360 Photos works with agents in Cypress, Katy, Bridgeland, Spring and across Greater Houston.

The listing is the first showing. 52% of buyers found the home they bought online, and looking online is the most common first step in a search (NAR 2025).
- Video is still a gap. 39% of buyers want a video tour from their agent, but only 32% got one (Zillow 2026). An agent who offers video stands out.
- Better listing media gets more attention. Zillow reports that Showcase listings, which pair professional photos with a 3D tour and an interactive floor plan, get 79% more page views, 76% more saves and 91% more shares than similar nearby listings (September 2025). These are Zillow’s own figures for its own product.
- Staging helps buyers picture it. 83% of buyers’ agents say staging made it easier for buyers to see a home as their future home (NAR 2025 Profile of Home Staging). For vacant listings, virtual staging is the low-cost way to get there.
Statistics we left out, and why
Some numbers appear in almost every real estate marketing post but don’t survive a check. A seller who looks one up and finds nothing behind it will trust you less.
| Claim you will see online | Why it is not in this guide |
|---|---|
| Listings with video get 403% more inquiries | No report, link or sample can be traced. Blogs attribute it to an Australian portal. |
| Professional photos sell homes 32% faster | Based on a 2013 Redfin study of homes around $400,000. Redfin found no price effect above $1 million. |
| Drone photos sell homes 68% faster | Published by a photo-editing vendor with no method or sample. |
| HDR photos sell 50% faster | A vendor blog figure with no published method. |
What still holds from the older research: in Redfin’s 2013 study, homes in the $200,000 to $1 million range with professional photos sold for $3,400 to $11,200 more relative to list price. Useful context, but 13 years old.

Buyers say they do. In Zillow’s 2026 buyer survey, 82% are more likely to view a home with a floor plan they like, 69% say 3D tours give a better feel for a space than photos, and 63% wish more listings had 3D tours.
